Stephen travels in the South East to demonstrate and / or run workshops for art groups and societies. During these structured presentations He will explain his methods and thoughts as he paints. He talks.... a lot really...... giving a running commentary as the painting develops. In his workshops he uses the tell, show, do method, (which works well with all abilities) and circulates to offer assistance one to one where it is asked for.

For both demonstrations and workshops Stephen will paint in gouache, watercolour, acrylic, oil pastel or soft pastels. He also draws in pencil or charcoal and pastel pencils. The subjects vary from townscapes to landscapes and portraits, and from animals to sport.
